My name is Savannah Montgomery and I am working on my High School Senior Project to provide a family who has gone through the challenges of breast cancer with a vacation.
My grandmother, Barbara Montgomery, passed from breast cancer when I was young, but I am still aware of the effects her battle had on my family. With my grandmother being sick, cancer was a common word, before and after she passed. As a result I wish to give a family a chance to not worry about the expenses or consequences of having to pay for chemo and other treatments.

Mission:
When a family endures the hardships associated with a breast cancer diagnosis, often the first sacrifice made is family vacation time. I plan to be able to offer a Delaware family the opportunity to make memories post-cancer treatment by providing a vacation in Rehoboth Beach, expense free. Every memory counts and the goal is to help families achieve that.
Why is it important:
~ 1 in 8 women will receive a breast cancer diagnosis
~ Breast cancer is the cause of death for over 40,000 people in the U.S.
~ Psychological studies conclude a lower risk of recurrence when mental health is prioritized.
